FilAm actor Jake Cuenca confirms breakup with Kylie Verzosa

Filipino American actor Jake Cuenca has confirmed that he and beauty queen Kylie Verzosa have broken up after three years of relationship.

On Instagram, the California-born actor, whose real name is Juan Carlos Leveriza Cuenca, 34, wrote an emotional message for his girlfriend of three years.

“I say this with such a heavy heart but me and Kylie have decided to go our separate ways,” he stated.

“I’m still so proud of us because we didn’t want to break up in anger, we both wanted to be able to look back on our relationship with no bitterness, no anger, and no regrets, only the good memories,” he added.

Jake said he will always be proud of Kylie, Miss International 2016, and that he will always send her love and positivity.

“I will still be here to support you because in so many ways I feel a part of your journey and I will always pray for your success,” Jake said.

“I’m happy we were able to finish this chapter of our lives the same way we started it. As friends.”

According to PEP.ph, Jake and Kylie confirmed they were dating in September 2019.

And now that her breakup with Jake Cuenca is in the open, Kylie said she would focus more on her career.

The actress, who spoke to Ogie Diaz on his YouTube channel recently, stated that she will rest first, and then get back to work.

Asked what advice would she give couples who are going through the same situation, she said, “You can do it. Take it a day at a time and I feel that time will heal all wounds.”

“I am grateful for everything, thankful for everything that happened,” she added.

On the other hand, the beauty queen admitted that she and ex-boyfriend Jake Cuenca haven’t seen one another since their split.

“We are not talking to each other. Rest first. Focus first. Work and career,” she said.
