John Lloyd Cruz happy to make TV comeback on GMA Network

JOHN LLOYD CRUZ in TV comeback via GMA Network and in the movies also soon

It’s official — very exciting times are ahead as John Lloyd Cruz makes his showbiz comeback through a special Kapuso series soon.

The multi-awarded actor, bankable leading man and top-caliber endorser is rightfully one of the biggest names in the industry. Aside from receiving multiple accolades from local and international-award giving bodies, he also has a stream of certified blockbuster movie hits to boot.
Earlier, John Lloyd signed a partnership agreement with GMA Network for his highly-anticipated program.

“Maraming salamat sa pagbibigay ng tahanan sa aming munting pamilya at programa. Napakalaking bagay ‘ho na nakahanap kami ng tahanan sa GMA. Sa lahat ng mga nagpaabot ng pagbati… sana talaga lahat tayo ay mabigyan ng pagkakataon na magkatrabaho. Kung may time kayo sana madalaw ninyo kami sa aming programa. I-we-welcome namin kayo sa aming munting pamilya,” said John Lloyd.

GMA Network executives showed their full support and excitement to John Lloyd via Zoom, video messages and their presence at the EDSA Shangri-La Hotel.

John Lloyd Cruz said he and Bea Alonzo would have the chance to tell new stories in GMA Network.
“’Yun ’yung maganda, because I think kami ni Bea being here and, like I said, about meeting new creatives, meeting new creators, tingin ko napakagandang opportunity noon for Bea and I,” John Lloyd told GMA News Online in a virtual interview following his official signing with the Kapuso Network.

“We have an opportunity na to encounter new narratives, mga bagong storya, mga bagong kwento na hindi pa namin nagagawa,” he added.

The actor said he was “looking forward to that. Sana lang mainly mag-align ’yung aming schedule, ’yung aming stars.”

Bea also expressed her excitement over John Lloyd’s move to GMA-7. again in her video message for the actor.

“Hi Idan, ito na naman tayo, magkasama na naman tayo. Mukhang totoo yata ’yung sinabi nila na magkadugtong ’yung bituka nating dalawa,” said Bea.

“First of all welcome to GMA. I cannot wait for everyone to see and experience the greatness of a John Lloyd Cruz just like I did through the years,” she added.

“You know that I will forever be your biggest fan and congratulations for your new show and I will see you very, very soon.”

John Lloyd will be starring on a new show titled “Happy Together” on GMA-7 directed by Bobot Mortiz. He will also be part of the production team as the creative director.

The actor previously made his comeback on television through GMA-7’s “Wowowin” as Willie Revillame’s co-host for its 6.6 Midyear Sale show in June.

During the event, John Lloyd was teary-eyed during his short interview with Willie about his comeback.
